I was checking out vinyl this evening and I returned to the website of my former employer, Ropeadope Records-- and there I found something which took my breath away.

So you don't know The Philadelphia Experiment or King Britt? Well all I have to say is you don't know anything about the Philadelphia independent music scene but no worries- that's what I'm here for. In short, The Philadelphia Experiment is/was a collaborative between Philly natives ?uestlove (drums), Christian McBride (bass) , and Uri Caine (piano) [yay for diversity!].

The sound? Modern Jazz.
